| Silver-spotted Skipper |
This morning I called in at Malling Down by Lewes to search for the Silver-spotted Skippers. The literature says south facing slopes, nectaring on Thistle. I found two on the south facing slope in two hours, then on the way back to the path I checked the chalk pits and found three more. I then headed to Eastbourne to collect Aunt Bea and we returned made our way back along the pretty coastal route by Beachy Head and Newhaven.
