On Sunday we had a club dig near Petworth. It drizzled all morning and we were accompanied by a couple of pigs and some cattle. Finds included Tudor fastenings and an Elizabeth coin. I found a button, a musket ball and a lead weight with a hole in the middle It weighs 4-5/8 ozs, diameter 39.8mm, depth 10.61mm.
