Ferring Rife with Blues and Whites

Following Siwe’s visit at lunchtime I decided to disappear for and hour or so to Ferring Rife. It turned into a lovely afternoon and the blackberries were big, juicy delicious ones by the meadow. Plenty of interesting plants and critters and well worth visiting again.

Ferring Rife is covered by lilies
bees are busy
trees are heavy with fruit

insects are harvesting like crazy

mint gows everywhere, including in the bed of sphagnum moss

In this little hollow there were dozens of snail shells left from a thrush's banquet.
